Let's do this.

Our open-source week is back for 10 days starting November 21st!

A great opportunity for you to contribute, collaborate, and earn rewards. We have a number of projects and ecosystems ready to onboard you.

To participate and see the guidelines, register on our ODHack page over here.

Below, you will find projects that are participating this time round.

We are thrilled to introduce a new blockchain to this upcoming ODHack! Meet Alephium, a disruptive L1 blockchain project challenging industry limitations. Built for scalability, expressivity, security, and true decentralization, its ecosystem is a haven for developers and users seeking a better web3 experience. Positioned as the leading smart contract-enabled PoW chain, Alephium focus on usability, community-driven growth, and a strong developer experience.

They have two repos that will be participating in the ODHack, one that is a SDK and the other one to create new dApp examples in their contract language, Ralph.

On the Stellar side, we've got a number of amazing and new projects motivated to onboard new contributors! Trustless Work did a great post on their work and how they are transforming the potential of open-source. Check out the excerpt below written by Alberto Chavez.

"Building Trustless Work: Our Journey

At Trustless Work, we believe in the transformative potential of open source. As a platform providing Escrow-as-a-Service (EaaS), we aim to provide secure, transparent transactions across industries. Our vision is simple yet bold: to abstract the complexities of blockchain and empower platforms to integrate trustless escrow solutions into their payment flows.

This campaign marks a special milestone for us. Not only are we participating as a project, but other teams have already begun leveraging our API to build their own solutions. This validation demonstrates the power of collaboration and the impact that open source can have on accelerating innovation.

Spotlight on the Projects

Here’s a closer look at some of the incredible projects participating in this campaign, all contributing to the vibrant ecosystem of Stellar:

Why Open Source Matters for Stellar

Open source is more than a development philosophy—it’s a force multiplier. It accelerates innovation, fosters collaboration, and builds shared success ecosystems. For Stellar, this means enabling developers to build impactful solutions that serve real-world needs while lowering barriers to entry.
